The Roughneck is born from a boot that was first made for oil rig workers in the mid-20th century. The rig workers did notoriously dangerous work and were known by the nickname “roughnecks.” The Roughneck is built tough to honor the legacy of those workers, with a 6-inch height for support and protection, thick, durable leathers and an aggressive lugged Vibram® outsole for grip on any surface.
