Agitator single malt – rök (smoke)

Introducing Agitator’s Single Malt Whisky Rök – a smooth and gently smoky single malt. The liquid showcases Agitator’s creative and maverick style of maturation, ageing the liquid in a combination of chestnut wood and ex-Islay whisky casks, a combination rarely seen before. On the nose, soft peat comes through first, joined by light straw, herbal aromas and wood-y notes. The peat carries through to a lingering palate, accompanied by the syrupy sweetness of dried apricots. The finish is warming and composed, introducing a gentle saltiness that reflects the ex-Islay cask influence and leaves a satisfying, lightly smoky impression.
