Manx Streaky Bacon (Christmas)

240 grams Streaky bacon is cut from pork belly, which is the same cut used to make pork belly slices or Manx belly pork. It is known for its distinct layers of meat and fat, with alternating streaks of lean meat and fatty sections. The fat in streaky bacon adds flavour and moisture during cooking. The preparation of streaky bacon involves curing the pork belly with a mixture of salt, sugar, and often additional seasonings or spices.  Streaky bacon is well-suited for cooking methods such as frying, grilling, or baking. The fat within the bacon renders and caramelizes, resulting in a crispy and flavourful texture. The meat itself becomes tender and develops a savoury taste.
